So the annual raise the tent event was soon to be underway. What tent is it? It's
Lajeanne Runnels tent for the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. She is a pyschic and has been out at the festival for 21 years.
In the past I volunteered my time for her as an appointment setter. I did that almost every weekend for three years. (That is every weekend of the season - not every weekend for the whole year) I took last year off but I kinda wanted to help again this year.
However, I can't help all that much since my social calendar is more full than it ever has been in my life. I'm not complaining either. Having my condo seems to free up so much of my time and I LOVE it!!
Here you can see
Mark getting the tent ready to be raised.
Acquiescer is in the right part of the picture heading back to the storage to gather more stuff. The people in the background having a picnic?
We won't go there... okay?

After some stressful moments Mark, myself and Acquiescer raised the tent ourselves. I would have to say kudos to us only having three people raise such a beast of a tent.
I believe it was the quickest it was ever done too - I think we did a great job!

After we raised the tent we loaded in all of the extra stuff Lajeanne loves to decorate with. Of course we didn't know where to put everything but we tried our best...

Here you can see we got more and more stuff out. We decorated according to our memory since Lajeanne was sick in the hospital. Thankfully she has gotten out of the hospital and is on her road to recovery.
All your good get well vibes seemed to work!!

Soon it was to a point where we just couldn't do anymore without Lajeannes help so we packed it up and headed back over to the campgrounds to build platforms for Mark and Acquiescer's tents.
Here you can see Little B's awesome pose in the middle. She is a disco mama alright....
