FRIDAY NIGHT

The girls and I headed over to Koyi Sushi for their famous happy hour and it was everything we expected. That is until more people showed up.

We got there right at 5:00 and were promptly seated basically because no one else was in the joint. There were three of us right away and we ordered our first round and got everything within a timely manner. Why wouldn't we? We were the only ones there.

Once more three more of our party showed up the place was busy and all of a sudden our service S U C K E D. They ordered and had to wait 45 minutes for their order to be brought to them. Fourty-five minutes for three sushi rolls??? It was AWFUL.

The sushi was great and I can't dispute that but the service we received once the place was busier was horrendous. I don't know if they were short a waitress or if they were short a sushi chef but whatever it was - it wasn't good.

Once dinner was over I headed home to meet Little B and Mark at his work to pick up some supplies for Saturday's Ren Fest tent raising.

I was greeted by Little B's enthusiastic self and she was so gracious as to pose for this picture for me. Here she is standing on her dad's bumper posing...

Notice how Mark's car is loaded as far as you can load anything?

Here Little B has hopped up on her dads hood and was trying to 'help' him secure the load to the top of the car....

She soon lost interest and moved on to bigger and better things...

...Like posing...

Here she is standing on her dad's hood showing me her moves...

Here she is on my truck showing the wonderful load I got to haul the next day.

All I can say is that at some point, my truck will die and when that happens - I'm not sure what my friends will do without it. (he he he) I'm kidding of course because I tend to haul more things for myself than anyone. However, this is the biggest load I have ever driven.

Driving this load wasn't the easiest thing I have ever done that is for sure. Midway through the drive I was in rain and wind and I thought I wasn't gonna be able to make the trip down to fest but my truck pulled me through.

Now... Who is unloading this?
