Ok – I haven’t posted about my ‘crack-cocaine’ TV show Project Runway in a while. Things have been hectic and honestly, it has taken some time to accept the fact that I have been wrong.
Wrong about what you ask? Well, I was wrong about….. Santino…
(Sandra, sit down, breathe and put down the phone… I must explain.)
Santino has been my arch enemy of the show since the beginning when I first saw how he was treating people in the competition. Also I didn’t care for the way he designed his clothes. In fact, I couldn’t stand them. It was fun to come into to work the next day and gossip about the craziness he called fashion and his crazy antics.
Nick was my favorite. Well, after Nick got booted off the show, I was at a loss and I had to decide who would be my next pick. Daniel quickly became my first choice to win with Chloe being a close second. In time, Daniel, Chloe and (to my horror) Santino became the three to prance the runway at the finals.
After watching last weeks episode I was shocked. What the hell are Daniel and Chloe THINKING? I mean, did you see the colors of the fabrics Chloe chose? It reminds me of a 80’s prom night gone really, really bad. And can I just say that Daniel’s idea of woman’s hand bag is just fricken ridiculous.
I can only hope the producers of the show were making things worse than they really are because I couldn’t imagine anything worse than that… really. In the mean time, they showed a side of Santino that I thought was very nice personally and the designs they showed of his were AMAZING.
Did you see that dress?! It was beautiful!!
So, I must publicly say (even though it’s hard to eat crow) I think Santino may have a good shot at winning this whole Project Runway thing and next Wednesday we will know for sure…..
Damn Santino….
