I was just presented an AWARD of EXCELLENCE and a BONUS check for my hard work this past quarter by the president of the company. Not to mention the fact that tonight we (all 6 of us in my department) are being treated to drinks and dinner by our boss’s boss. She wants to thank us for our hard work during the migration from one vendor to another.
You would think that this would be all right? Nope!! I had my review today and it was really good and I just got a raise!!!!

I'm so happy - I have never gotten that kind of thing before. I mean, the award is this big honkin' plaque and the check, well... let's just say it's heavier than the plaque!

Today has been kinda of a let down compared to all the commotion yesterday but umm, seriously, it is the weekend!!!!
