Most of you know that I listen to the infamous radio program Coast To Coast AM. Recently, in the past few months, even though they speak of conspiracy theories, UFO's, myth's, legends and other phenomena they have been talking quite a bit about the end of times.
Mind you, I'm a bit fascinated by all the things they speak of but they scare the crap out of me about the 'end of times' talk. One of their theories is that Yellowstone will be part of it. Part of it in the sense that it will blow us to kingdom come. They say there is already a 100 foot bulge and it's closed to the public. Living in Minnesota is not where I want to be when/if this happens. However, even though they have their scary talk, they also speak of shadow people and gnomes. In other words, it all must be taken in with a bit of skepticism.
Today, I was driving home from work and on the corner of Winnetka and 42nd are two girls dressed in ANGEL COSTUMES WITH WINGS holding signs saying, "Honk if you love Jesus". It looked as if the back said, "He is coming". I'm really not sure what to say about this. I have never seen this other than in the movies. I mean, all this talk about the end of the world, certain religious fanatics claiming we are in end times and these chicks freaking the hell out of me in traffic.
So maybe we are in the end of times. Yes, maybe the earth is heating up and Yellowstone is about to blow but I just wanna be naive to it all. I mean, can't I just NOT KNOW? If it's true or not... There isn't anything I can do but prepare my soul.
