I had plans with Julie to go out somewhere crazy, fun and wild but we both decided funds were low and we just needed to veg. So we did. Veg and listen to groovy funky techno music while I got a tour of her place, her things and heard stories of her life. Interesting and lovely, I might add. She is a person with deep felt sentiment and that I always value closely to my heart. I love her stories. So warm, they are.
Headed to Marks for a movie. We were gonna watch Monty Pythons Holy Grail but it was rented. Bleh -- we watched the Meaning of life instead. Wowza. It was pretty neat. Kinda reminded me of 'The Wall.' It was groovy watching the animations....
Spent most of the weekend with Dave (Mr. hunky man). We watched Lord of the Rings - the pre-season Vikings football game. He won me at darts but only because I felt sorry for him losing all the time. It's not like he's bad or anything but I can't stand to see him pout. A man groveling..... hmmmmm well anyway, so I let him win and all. Okay, maybe I didn't LET him win as much as he just whopped my ass without even trying but such is life..... I have my pride.
I had dinner at his place with his parents and we had a great conversation. Food was amazing and Dave was smiling so all is well in Jacque land. We watched 'Oh Brother Where Art Thou' and that was pretty great. The humor was quite good. I was so tired that I felt zonked by the end of it. I spent the night and woke refreshed and in awe of the great time I always seem to have with him. Watched him sleep for a while. He looks peaceful that way. Cute too....
First thing in the morning -- he taught me the start of Blood Omen on te Play Station. Game seems pretty awesome and I'm looking forward to killing all the vampires that rule the 'slums' . (I totally kicked some asses) Later on - met his sister in law and her three kids. Sara, Taylor <---who knows if that is spelt right... and Cody. All beautiful. Had Lunch and scurried on my way to do some cleaning here at my house. EEWWWWWW.
Found out I could have help set up the Ren Fest things with Mark and LaJean but didn't get the call until later. Also missed Erik and Bekki's call to go to the Farmers Market in Mpls. They have the best ever clothes there. LOVE IT----> with cherries on top.
Well, my dishes are sitting... waiting.... calling my name --- beckoning to me... WASH ME --------> WASH MEEEEEEEE
