Is it almost over?

I’m waiting for the end of the day to come but it hasn’t.

I’ve done things but not the list of things she wants me to do.  I’m not ready.  I’m still trying to sort out my desk.  It’s in shambles.  I’m lost amongst all the stacks of paper sample books and emails since I’m gone.

I’m tired.  I mean, really tired.  I could sleep right now.  I have an irresistible urge to yawn over and over again.  Of course that is a side effect from one of my medications I’m told.

I’m still tired though.

Whatever.

There are lots of well wishers, “Glad you’re back” kind of thing.  I went out to lunch for free today as a “Welcome back” to the chaos.  I missed people, not the work.

I have new cube neighbors.  I think that is gonna be fun.  I like them all.
