I had it placed on the center of my back underneath my neckline. I went to Electric Dragonland in Hopkins and had Shahn Anderson create and complete the tattoo. I waited almost two months to get the appointment because the man is so good at what he does that he's quite popular.
I brought in the Kanji symbols myself that I wanted and told him briefly what I wanted the tattoo to include and he took it from there. The symbols mean "Believe in yourself" . I had him include a tree to represent the tree of life and the different paths we choose on our journey in life. I love that the tree he added was a Bonsai because it requires a lot of patience and attention. This will remind me to have patience with myself and also remind me to pay attention to myself. Something that I tend to forget at times.
It's beautiful and I love it but man, did it hurt.
If anyone tells you that a tattoo doesn't hurt - they're lying.
