That's why I almost always cook with the microwave.
However, microwaved foods taste "zapped" in the most extreme sense of the term--if there is a sense of that term.
So, why not return to the fire pit in the backyard? No energy used and best taste around. I am completely up for that.
Interesting. Some items don't cook well in the microwave, but most things are just fine. Good to keep in mind.
Then again, if energy savings are our real goal, then we should just eat our food raw.
