The chick that I hang out with at work totally got a new job. Like, a good job that pays a whole lot more money.
I’m happy that she is gonna be moving up in her career and pretty much screwing ‘The Man’ but I’m super sad to see her go for my own selfish reasons. Oh well. Such is life, eh?
Definition: THE MAN - The Man is the head of "the establishment" put in place to "bring us down." Though nobody has physically seen "the man," he is assumed to be a male Caucasian between the ages of 25-40 and is rumored to have a substantial amount of acquired wealth, presumably acquired by exploiting those whom his "establishment" is "keeping down." That being said, I’m sure The Man I’m talking about is a chick that works in my company that enjoys utilizing a diva/goddess attitude despite incompetence’s that the entire company can witness. Enough said.

I thought "the man" typically is a 40ish male who wears glasses and suspenders and walks from cube to cube holding a massive coffee mug.
