Last night I hauled myself to the Greenway trail by Lake Calhoun. My first 4 miles were amazing and I did it in 20 minutes. What sucked is that I had to turn around and when I did the wind was no longer at my back. Here is a picture of my favorite house along the way... (horrible picture though)
I took an extra 10 minutes to skate back to the start. I felt like such a slacker skating as slow as I did but I guess not every work out can be as great as my last one. Here is a picture of one of the many gardens on the trail.
Here is a picture of Lake Calhoun's Canal thingy. When I cross this bridge I always feel like I'm gonna fall off of it for some reason. I couldn't tell you why so it's probably not a good idea to ask me.Ok... so maybe I'm afraid of heights...
Kinda.
SO here are some other pictures of my way back since I was just toolin' along...This is also where I passed a really old dude on a bike with streamers on the handle bars and he was talking to someone next to him very loudly. Except, there was no one next to him.
It's at that point when you have to ask yourself, "If this guy stops and comes after me with a weapon, how much energy do I have left in my legs to get me away from him?". I swear I'm just way to nervous of a person for certain situations.
This is where I turned around -- near Cedar. I suppose this is one of those posts where it means absolutely nothing, it's Friday afternoon and I'm no longer interested in doing any work.
Aren't my readers lucky?

The third picture here actually reminds me of a visit I made to Durham, a little up north from here--I looked down the river and saw a succession of bridges--it was a very nice trip.
Yeah, I'm checking out blogs because I am unwilling to do any work right now myself. Glad to find someone else as disinterested in productivity in the traditional sense as I am.
