When I have Time on My Hands...

I have a wedding to go to later tonight and a Birthday party tomorrow. I'm sitting here doing nothing on the computer while I wait for my laundry to be finished so I can fold it.

My living room is a mess.

I tried on some clothes yesterday at Marshall Fields in an effort to find something decent to wear tonight. Nothing fits. I bought a shirt but I have no pants that look nice but I couldn't find any that weren't under $50 that looked decent.

I've lost 4 pants sizes in 12 weeks. To most I'm still heavy but I'm proud of how far I have come. I can fit into clothes I haven't worn in four years. My intent is to be thinner than I was back then and I'm close to it.

I'm bored but I'm not.

Sometimes I think I will be single forever. I don't have a problem meeting people but people have a problem being serious about me. I'm not sure why. At times I think I'm too independent - or maybe too realistic.

I see more than I want to.

My house is still in need of repairs from the remodel. I need to get back to fixing this place but Winter seems more the appropriate time for that.

I'm busy now.

I don't know why I'm here. I mean, I don't know why I'm here on this planet. What possible thing could I have that no one else does? Isn't that what they are always saying; everyone has a purpose? Just when I think I have it figured out....

I don't.

Today I feel lost.

Why isn't my laundry done yet?

Everyone has a purpose in life. It can't always be found right away and in some cases, even a lifetime may not reveal that purpose, but it's out there.

Keep searching, it'll be found.

hmmm.... I enjoyed visiting your blog.

Lost is some where each and everyone of us feel at some point in time. I believe in moments when we are lost, it is best to seek complete solitude. Silence (for me at least) helps us reunite with our purpose.
