Once we ran around long enough in the woods - M investigating the wonders of life and me whacking bugs and whining about woodticks - we headed back to the cabin for some lunch. Afterwards we packed up our crap and headed back to civilization. Here you can see the lovely bumper to bumper traffic jam we were in on the way back.
I just love that exhuast-filled air, don't you???
So all in all, I had a wonderful time and M's family was extremely kind and gracious to me. M's sister even gave up her room for me. A great big thank-you goes out to them for allowing me to share a part of their annual family vacation. They are great people!
