HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRINCESS E!

A few of you have asked where the heck I was this afternoon. Well, I played hooky from work to meet Princess E and my mom at the Old Country Buffet.

Aren't they cute as heck in their pink outfits?

We ate and ate and ate and ate. Which is typical for a buffet style meal. However, I just couldn't finish my plate. All the bad food looked so dang good but once I got a bite or two of it, it wasn't worth gaining weight over so I opted to push it aside. Don't get me wrong though, that didn't stop me from trying most everything they had. Princess E and I ended up sharing a lot of our food and we had the greatest time tasting everything.

Can you see my pink finger nails? Princess E called me at work and told me that wearing pink was mandatory but I had no time to rush home and change. So in order to meet the 'strict' dress code I colored my nails with pink highlighter. She seemed to like them a lot and I passed the pink inspection.

*phew*
That was a close one....

Aren't you wondering why Princess E opted to go to somewhere like the Old Country Buffet for her birthday. I wondered the same thing. I mean, why not McDonalds, Burger King or Circus, Circus? Well, Princess E picked Old Country Buffet because you can make your own desserts and boy did she make one....

Here you can see her gummy bears, lime and frozen yogurt but she had a plate full of gummy bears, crushed cookie and sprinkles to dip her cone in every time she licked it.

Eventually, all she had left was cone and candy.... Ahhhh, to be young again!

After our meal Princess E and I headed over to Down In The Valley to get her a lava lamp, meditation garden for her room (tiny) and a DVD of The American Idol greatest moments seasons 1-4.

She loved it and we had a ton of fun picking everything out.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRINCESS!!
