i remember walking down the street once at night in uptown. some guy was walking past me in the opposite direction yelling:
"basil!"
"basil!"
"basil!"
"basil!"
i convienently found a little driveway in the middle of the block that took me into the alley, thus allowing me to avoid the crazy "basil" muttering dude.
i wonder if he thought i was basil. or possibly someone that reminded him of his favorite herb.
no one will ever know....
The original is "Overheard in New York City." This is a funny variation, though.
