Hollyhock - I have tried and tried to get this plant to start from seed but I have always failed. So when I saw it at the Farmers Market I had to grab one. This one is actually for my mom. When I realized how tall it got I knew it was right for my little garden.

Keep trying with the seeds, but do it in a 3 or 4 inch pot & make sure it gets real sun, like outdoors. Hollyhocks grow wild up here in the Arizona mountain; they're mighty pretty so I did a post on them. Do come visit.
