Last night I slept on my new bed for the first time. Let me just say that getting up on the bed was a feat in itself being it's 2-3 inches higher than I'm used too. My back was not sore this morning but my throat was.
Apparently the Temporpedic mattress has an unusual odor from the manufacturing process that lasts for about a week after you receive it. Well, an odor I can deal with but when I woke up at 3am this morning feeling like my throat was going to close shut from the fumes of the 'odor' I thought I was going to die.
Literally.
I guess I'm a rare case being I have the trachea the size of an infant. I can detect the slightest change in the air quality and it gets irritated extremely easy. A few glasses of water and walking out of the area helped but I had to make sure I had my mouth closed at all times while I slept or I woke up.
The experience was ok for the most part but in a week, it should be awesome....
It better be or it's gotta go back....
