Ok - so I added some more paint to this thing... It's a horrible picture but you can kind of see the golden color. The lighting is bad but I have little to know light in this place at night.
I couldn't just let it sit there - I had to mess with it some more.
The orange paint is from my dining room walls (and the part of the living room) and the golden color is from the living room walls. I will be using the chocolate brown from the baseboards and then using some complementary colors pulled from the living room area rug on the 3-D pieces.
This piece is being made for the dining room.
