A while back I thought about making a sculptured piece of art for the dining room wall. I white washed a very old frame with some burlap on it. I figured this would be a good surface for something 3-D rather than use the canvas for a painting that may eventually yellow with time from the burlap.
Anyway, I used some expanding insulation foam to create the first part of it. You can see there are some Styrofoam blocks in the corner of the picture that I will be using as well.
I figured I may as well work on this while I'm on my break from the walls. Another picture is soon to come.....

I have already done some serious carving on it so it looks pretty different. I need to get another picture posted.
