GERMANY OIL DUDE

I was talking to GERMANY BEER DUDE and I asked him how much petrol was in Germany. He said it was $1.20 per liter and with 3.79 liters in a gallon that equals to $4.55 a gallon. He mention that he was putting salad oil in his car instead of regular diesel fuel and said his car smelt like french fries. He said that taxi drivers are taking old McDonald's oil and using that!

I laughed so hard but he wasn't kidding. It's really what they are doing to cut their driving costs! Take a look here...Salad Oil in Cars

Hans: I take normal plant oil right now
Hans: some use cleaned fries oil from restaurants and mcdonalds
Hans: this recycled oil is about 40 cents per liter
Hans: if you recycle yourself it is free
Hans: you need 2 tanks like rain water tanks
Hans: and a pond fontaine
Hans: a heating for liquids
Hans: you just have to pump from 1 to the other tank, so rest of fries are fished out
Hans: your engine would not run with fries, because it has no teeth
Hans: and this is all legal!
Hans: using heating oil is prohibited
Hans: it has red color
Hans: police is watching your tanks!
Hans: penalties are high!
Hans: but salad oil is ok

$2.50 a gallon isn't so bad after all.....
