Mark started the ramp on the porch. (WOOO HOO!!) Starting to really take shape and I'm excited about that. Adam stopped by to say hello. We all hung out for a while but the night came soon enough. Must SLEEP for the Ren Fest tomorrow.
SATURDAY
I was running late again despite my efforts to get both Mark and I up earlier to make it on time. The Festival was BOOMING with people. We booked people 2 hours in advanced for readings! It was a great day and wonderful weather. We hung out a bit afterwards to check out the fencing tournament.
SUNDAY
SLEEP! I got to SLEEP..... but somehow my body refused to stay in bed any longer than 9AM. *whatever* I finished my dishes finally and threw in some loads of laundry. Attempted cleaning the place a bit but no matter what I try it seems to get even messier with all this garage sale and good will boxes all over the place.
Julie showed up about 2:30 and we head out to the BLACK BEAR CASINO near DULUTH. I don't even know what city we were in. We went to see a free outdoor concert of TAILER DANE. I don't even know if that is spelt right but it was an AWESOME show and we had a great time!
In between her two shows there were other bands performing. We danced and boogied to the retro porn guitars.
In the words of the Saturday night live PBS special people..... "Good times. Good times."
On the way up, Julie is all like, "...Wouldn't that be cool if I put in a buck and won a ton of money?" ....sure enough, she did and of course I lost twenty bucks. (even the five bucks Julie so generously gave me)
MONDAY
Head out to the Ren Fest - this time EARLY! Have a slow day but it's over now.... I'm heading to bed. I'm burnt. I'm tired. I'm tired and BURNT.
