Nikki meets me at Supervalu to help me shop. We do the dishes and I start my laundry. We just sit down and my sister Lisa and her three kids arrive. Megan, Emma and Lizzy. Nikki and Lisa leave to go shopping. I'm left alone with the hellions.
Stacey and DeAngelo show up and Stacey leaves. I'm now left alone with four hellions. Megan and DeAngelo play nintendo. Emma is writing on furniture and anything she finds that makes a mark, she uses as a marker. Lizzy wants to play games on the computer but being three years old the mouse is difficult to comprehend.
LIZZY: THIS Button?
ME: Yes, that button.
LIZZY: THIS BUTTON?
ME: Yes Hun, That button.
LIZZY: This Button?
ME: No, That button.
LIZZY: This Button?
ME: YES this button.
LIZZY: This button?
EMMA:JACQUE!!! Do you have any other color markers than this one?
ME: YES THIS BUTTON! Emma? What are you drawing on?
EMMA: .........nothin......
The furniture has seen better days. So we went to the park. Thank God for Parks.
Lisa, Nikki and Dylan showed up at the park. We all go home. Lisa takes Megan, Lizzy, Emma home. Nikki takes Dylan home. I'm finally left alone with DeAngelo. We are playing Nintendo.
Mark is at the door. He was suppose to be there four hours ago to work on the neighbors house. He's late. Mark yaps on the computer. DeAngelo and I play nintendo.
I collapse at 12:30.
SATURDAY
9AM I get up to make pancakes. I make breakfast and the boys watch cartoons arguing about which one is better. (whatever)
Mark starts working on the neighbors house. DeAngelo and I make a new flower garden in the back of the house. He bores easily with digging and starts collecting worms. He waters the flowers and plays with the hose. I work on the garden.
I make Hot Dogs for the boys. Stacey and Rico show up to pick up DeAngelo. I finish my garden, take shower and head to Daves. (Late but I had a good excuse)
A warm hug and a "Hi Hun" was never more welcomed. I watched the movie 'Spirit' as he made us dinner. We ate and watching 'Signs' as well. Shrek, Power Puffs Girls and Shinobi were on the games list for the night.
I fell asleep at 11:00. (party pooper)
SUNDAY
1PM Awake, shower and finally manage to get Dave out of bed. He had stayed up all night with Shinobi and Star Wars. I had finally yanked him down stairs at 5AM this morning to sleep.
We talk and giggle but Shinobi grabs him once again as I watch Manor House. (PBS ROCKS!) I leave so he can go gaming and I can finish my house work.
I arrive home and find Mark asleep on my couch. My pond is almost ready for the fountain and my bike almost fixed. We finish watching the Manor House marathon eating Pizza with wine. He leaves to babysit and I finally find my missing cat again. She had run off for the day.
I haven't finished my laundry and I have more dishes to do than when I started on Friday. Tomorrow I go to work and all I want to do is go to bed for the next few days.
I need a vacation from my weekend.
