Sometimes we make decisions that will affect us for the rest of our lives. Not only will they affect our lives but other peoples as well. I'm not one to walk away from a friend however. walking away from a person that is so obviously dysfunctional that they continuely bring you down isn't anything but a move to save myself.

The comfort, the ease of staying in one place mentally doesn't appeal to me anymore. I have grown. I have seen my potential and it's not something that they will ever understand. So here I am holding my back pack of memories and smiling on the years past because without them I wouldn't be who I am. The place that I have been waiting to reach since I was young. A place where I look in the mirror and I love what I see. A place where I'm proud of what I am.

I'm taking the unbeaten path. The journey awaits me and the sun is shining. Taking my first steps to a whole new me.
