A Year In Review - 2008

A retrospective of 2008.

Two major illnesses, bed rest, a break up, a failed marathon, unemployment, weight gain, family surgeries, family illness and a death in the family...

Life.

All made up for by the love and support of my friends and family. I love you all.

Thanks for making 2008 bearable and I look forward to making 2009 the best year yet! :o)

My niece and I having some fun....

I'm Cold.

So the furnace is broken. It's 55 degrees in here. I have the dryer going, the dishwasher... hoping to generate some heat.

I'm late for work. Like, by a lot.

The neighbors gave me a space heater last night to borrow. It warmed up my bedroom last night and I finally slept pretty soundly.

I thought the chills I was having was because I was getting sick or something but no such luck.

I hope they get here SOON! :o)

Gingerbread Mayhem

This was one of my last days spent with Mae. Not sure I will get to spend much time with her going forward. It had been a while since I had seen her. She will be seven in January.

Her hair cut is super cute.

Sledding, putting up the Christmas tree, decorating a gingerbread house and playing around while eating sweets.....

This time was special for both of us and we made the best of it.
