"I have to admit it, I'm a sucker for human interest stories, especially ones that have happy endings. Jacqueline, the proud owner of Kid's Korner, may not think her story has a happy ending yet, but life is really a series of fits and starts, and so far it seems Kid Jacque has been finishing things nicely. I'm sure the chapter introducing the love interest will no doubt follow suit.

Kid's Korner is a diary weblog, which is the kind of weblog I really enjoy. You can find anything from a minute-by-minute list of how Jacqueline's work day is, to little, esoteric messages meant for a particular viewer or person. Her writing style is generally clear and humorous. She is very personable, and it shows in the way she blogs.

So where is that human interest story I was talking about? Well, if you drill down a bit past Jacqueline's blog, you'll find links to other informative pages which will help you understand more about this woman. Like, for example, the fact that she lost a tremendous amount of weight and has committed herself to fitness and a healthy lifestyle, in spite of being diagnosed with a rare respiratory defect and congenital heart disease. She went from barely being able to lift her hands above her head to training for an inline-skating marathon. If that's not inspiration, I guess I don't know what is.

I had some initial nitpicks with Jacqueline's blog, but not from a content perspective. The layout on the blog page is creative, but inflexible. If I had a smaller monitor and used lower resolution, I'm sure I would have a problem with the overall width of the template. As it is, I think the layout seems to reflect the person behind it - it looks chaotic, but there is a sense of order there if you look. The blog and the other content pages are on separate servers and use separate layouts. I've seen other bloggers do this, but I would prefer it if the site had a consistent layout throughout. I'm big on cross-navigating.

You won't go wrong following Kid Jacque's story. She's funny, she has a good story, and more importantly, she's amazingly human."

*blushing* Ahhhhh, geeee..... *giggle* *giggle* I'm not one to blow my own horn but isn't that great?!?! ......ok, ok , ok , ok,....OK!.... Maybe I do a little bit but like he said.... "she's amazingly human." Can't blame a girl for that right?!?!

It's truly a great honor to know that I have inspired others to start blogging. It's probably one of the greatest compliments one can give me. I think everyone should write.
